Dallas is the eastern half of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex in north Texas, on the Trinity River. Dealey Plaza and the Sixth Floor Museum, the Arts District and Deep Ellum are the downtown list, Fair Park hosts the State Fair of Texas from late September to mid-October, and AT&T Stadium is out in Arlington. Two airports serve it: DFW, American’s largest hub, about 16 miles northwest of downtown Dallas and 20 miles northeast of downtown Fort Worth, and Love Field, just northwest of the city center.
Indianapolis has nonstops to both Dallas airports on the airport’s route map, listed as year-round. On the dates we read, American flew DFW nonstop both ways from $277, and the cheapest fares were Frontier, which connected through Atlanta, Denver, Orlando or Fort Lauderdale. The lowest we’ve recorded on this route is $115, from October 8.
